Opening your home temporarily to an animal from Elmbrook Humane Society is a special way to show your passion for helping animals. Home ownership can usually be verified the same day and we attempt to verify landlord approval same day. We do check home ownership or seek landlord approval as part of the adoption process. If you are adopting a dog and have another dog in your household, we ask that you bring in your dog to meet their potential new companion. If you complete the application ahead of visiting, please open the application file, save to your computer, complete and save the application to your computer, and email the completed application file to ask that all family members meet the adoptable animal prior to the adoption being approved. Applications are completed and processed the same day.
